Angie is intentional in creating a warm, safe space where clients can openly share both challenges and successes. Her own journey through hardship and growth has fueled her passion for helping others feel truly heard and understood in their unique struggles.
Specializing in work with adolescents and adults, Angie addresses relational and emotional challenges, codependency, anxiety, grief, and trauma. She also supports individuals navigating parenting, divorce, blended families, identity concerns, and communication difficulties.
Angie has completed Level 1 training in Internal Family Systems (IFS) through the IFS Institute and is fully trained in EMDR, the Flash Technique, and trauma-focused CBT. She works collaboratively with clients to create individualized treatment plans that align with their needs and goals.
A Licensed Professional Counselor, Angie earned her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. She continues to pursue advanced training and consultation in IFS and other modalities, staying engaged with LPCA and professional consultation groups to remain current in the field.
Outside of her counseling work, Angie enjoys exploring beach towns with her husband, spending quality time with her adult children and grandchildren, or reading a book with her cat, Lottie.
