Angie Chini
LPC
Angie is intentional in creating a warm, safe space where clients can openly share both challenges and successes. Her own journey through hardship and growth has fueled her passion for helping others feel truly heard and understood in their unique struggles.
Specializing in counseling adults (18+), Angie supports clients in addressing relational and emotional challenges, codependency, anxiety, grief, and trauma. She works with individuals navigating life transitions such as parenting changes, divorce, blended families, identity concerns, communication difficulties, and hormonal shifts; helping clients move from feeling stuck or overwhelmed to more grounded, clear, and empowered.
Angie has completed Level 1 training in Internal Family Systems (IFS) through the IFS Institute. She is fully trained in EMDR and is currently pursuing certification in EMDR 2.0, an updated approach designed to help the brain process and resolve distressing experiences more efficiently. Her training also includes the Flash Technique and trauma-focused CBT. She works collaboratively with clients to create individualized treatment plans that align with their goals and support meaningful, lasting change.
A Licensed Professional Counselor, Angie earned her master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Liberty University. She continues to pursue advanced training and consultation in IFS and other trauma-informed approaches and remains actively engaged in professional consultation groups to stay current and provide high-quality care.
Outside of her counseling work, Angie enjoys exploring beach towns with her husband, spending quality time with her adult children and grandchildren, or reading a book with her cat, Lottie. If you’re seeking a compassionate, experienced therapist, Angie invites you to reach out for a consultation and looks forward to supporting you in your healing and growth.
