Sanona Williams

Sanona is a Licensed Professional Counselor whose work involves helping people navigate the road of life with compassion, empathy, and warmth as the guiding principle in her approach to counseling. Her passion for helping others is combined with honesty and biblical principles in an effort to provide hope and solutions when facing life’s challenges and conflicts. Her goal is to provide each one of her clients with a safe and non-judgmental environment for talking, listening, and motivating; while walking side by side to find a path leading to the life they desire.
Sanona’s counseling experience includes community involvement, church ministry, and private practice setting. She has a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Walden University and is a Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor.
Sanona works in a variety of areas, including anxiety, depression, bipolar, identity issues, parenting/family issues, pre-marital, marital/communication enrichment and conflict resolution, and affair recovery, and she is working toward her certification in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). She works with high schoolers, college students, young adults, adults, and couples. Sanona is a registered Prepare and Enrich provider and has training in the areas of marriage counseling, anxiety, and grief to meet the needs of those she works beside.
Sanona has been married for over 25 years and has three adult children. Sanona and her husband serve as facilitators in the marriage ministry at their church. She also partners with a non-profit organization to provide mental health and suicide awareness prevention education to elementary, middle school, and high school students.
