Kate Pritchard

Kate is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling graduate student at Liberty University and an intern working under the supervision of Heather Cobb, LPC, NCC, CPCS. She earned her bachelor's degree in business administration from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Before pursuing a career in counseling, Kate worked as a Software Implementation Consultant and Product Strategy Associate, where she developed strong communication and problem-solving skills and gained experience connecting with people from diverse backgrounds. She also has worked part-time as a nanny while completing her graduate degree.

Kate is passionate about building meaningful relationships and creating a space where clients feel heard, understood, and supported. Over the years, she has served in a variety of mentoring and leadership roles with both children and adults, including leading youth ministry small groups, mentoring a college student with a disability, and serving in a wellness and academic advising role for a campus organization.

These experiences deepened her passion for walking alongside others as they navigate life's challenges and pursue personal growth. Kate believes every person has a unique story worth understanding.

While her compassion is rooted in her Christian faith, she welcomes clients from all backgrounds, beliefs, and life experiences. She strives to meet each person with empathy, curiosity, and genuine care, creating a collaborative environment where clients feel safe to explore their thoughts, emotions, and goals.

Outside of counseling, Kate enjoys spending time outdoors walking, running, playing pickleball, and golfing. She also loves to read mystery and historical fiction novels. Above all, she treasures time with family and friends and believes there is great joy and healing in sharing laughter with the people we love..
