Kendall Martin
APC
Hello! My name is Kendall. I received my master’s in clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University, and I am currently an Associate Professional Counselor under the supervision of Heather Cobb, LPC, CPCS. I grew up in the Cumming, GA area and I love serving the community that raised me.
My experience in mentorship roles, mostly with middle and high schoolers, through ministry and coaching sports, was what led me to a career in counseling. I love encouraging young people to embrace their full potential in school, work, and relationships with others. I have a deep interest and heart for those struggling with identity and relational issues, especially within families and among peers. I have acquired training in the following areas: SPACE, ADHD support, ERP, and IFS techniques. I have also been basic level trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART).
I hope to walk with empathy, warmth, and authenticity alongside my clients to foster healing and connection in a safe space. Although I have experience in ministry and hold my personal faith of high importance, I am passionate about meeting people where they are, in any circumstance, state, and from any background. I am encouraged by others' stories, and I hope to partner with my clients in their journey through this messy but wonderful life!
I enjoy crafting, traveling, cheering on the Dawgs, and trying new restaurants in my free time!
