Nicole Fisher
APC
Nicole enjoys partnering with adults, adolescents, couples, families, and groups as they move toward greater clarity, connection, and healing. She creates an emotionally safe, supportive space where clients feel seen, understood, and empowered to grow at their own pace. Nicole works with individuals navigating relationship challenges, anxiety and depression, neurodivergent experiences including ADHD and autism, trauma, grief and loss, life transitions, and substance use and recovery. She also works with couples and families, including those navigating blended family dynamics and evolving roles across the lifespan.
Nicole approaches her work through a compassionate, attachment-focused and systems-oriented lens. She is especially passionate about supporting neurodivergent clients in a way that honors their unique wiring, helping them better understand themselves while building sustainable strategies for emotional regulation, relationships, and daily life. Her style is empathetic, deeply validating, and thoughtful, balancing warmth with an analytical approach to help clients make meaningful sense of their experiences and patterns.
Nicole has completed training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples and is an active member of the Atlanta Community for Emotionally Focused Therapy. She integrates EFT principles into her work with both couples and individuals, helping clients identify and shift relational patterns while fostering deeper emotional connection and security. She also draws from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing to tailor treatment to each client’s needs. In addition to individual, couples, and family therapy, Nicole offers group therapy focused on building connection, emotional awareness, and relational skills in a supportive community setting.
Nicole is an Associate Professional Counselor with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Richmont Graduate University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Auburn University. She has experience working in long-term residential treatment for substance use disorders as well as in private practice. She is under the supervision of Heather Cobb, LPC, CPCS.
Outside of her work, Nicole enjoys spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, and continuing her own personal and professional growth journey.
