Austin Mueller, Path to Change Therapist

Austin earned his master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University, and is currently a MA, License Eligible Counselor under the supervision of Heather Cobb, LPC, CPCS. Before this, Austin obtained a bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sports Science from the University of Georgia and worked with young adults through his church.

Through his work, schooling, and experiences, Austin has developed a love for helping young adults and teenagers navigate life and its difficulties. This includes working on struggles such as performance anxiety, anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, faith struggles, couples and marital work. He has a passion for getting to know the hearts and minds of those who come into his office and meeting them where they are in their lives.

Austin likes to use a person-centered approach to offer a safe space for them to learn about themselves free of fear. He also incorporates aspects of different theories such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

In his free time, Austin loves to run, workout, play golf, rock climb, read, watch movies, go out with friends, and more. He loves anything related to being active and outside, but he also likes sitting down for a Star Wars or Lord of the Rings marathon or a good book.
