Kelsey has a passion for providing comfort and support to others around her. After spending a few years in the educational system as a Professional School Counselor, Kelsey knows what it is like to sit with our youth as they encounter big feelings. As a therapist, Kelsey creates a safe and trusting environment for others to feel supported and acknowledged as they embark through life events. With her previous experience, Kelsey has worked with children and adolescents as they navigate their difficult life transitions, anxieties, grief/loss, individual/peer conflicts, and social/emotional struggles. Kelsey aims to keep her focus on the whole person by incorporating mindfulness, DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), and movement into her sessions. Our body and mind are connected, and Kelsey aims always to keep this in mind with her clients. Healing begins from within, and Kelsey firmly believes that therapeutic work is fulfilled when one is given a place to do so. The work that Kelsey does as a therapist is grounded in her faith as a Christian.

Kelsey earned her Master's and Education Specialist degree in Professional Counseling with an emphasis in School Counseling from the University of Georgia. Go Dawgs! She also received a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from the University of North Georgia. Kelsey is an Associate Professional Counselor and a National Certified Counselor. She is under the supervision of Heather Cobb, LPC, CPCS.

As a Georgia native, this state means so much to Kelsey. In her free time, she is usually outside hiking in the mountains with her boyfriend or spending time with her family. She also enjoys curling up on the couch with a good book or watching the latest movie that has come out. She spends much time in the kitchen cooking or baking for her loved ones. She also has a passion for photography.
