Abigail (Abby) is currently a clinical mental health counseling graduate student at Richmont Graduate University and is working under the supervision of Heather Cobb, LPC, CPCS.
She has a heart for creating a space where people feel heard and valued as they explore their experiences and life’s challenges. She is passionate about working with children, adolescents, and young adults navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, struggles with self-worth, and life transitions. Her own life experiences, including being adopted, have shaped a deep appreciation for the importance of belonging and secure connection. She recognizes that growing up comes with unique pressures and uncertainties, and she is motivated to help others build confidence, resilience, and healthy ways of relating to themselves and others.
Grounded in her faith, Abby views counseling as an opportunity for hope and healing. She approaches counseling with warmth, authenticity, and genuine curiosity, striving to meet clients where they are and foster meaningful growth. Her experiences in youth ministry, full-time camp settings, and various caregiving roles have deepened her commitment to walking alongside others with empathy, patience, and encouragement.
Outside of the counseling room, Abby enjoys spending time with her husband, doing the daily New York Times games, and playing pickleball. She especially values intentional relationships, laughter, and the everyday moments in life that bring joy and keep her grounded.
